Raval, ID. Polo, Epiq and ID. Cross: shared platform, production in Spain
Volkswagen brings four compact EVs together. Its announcement links the family to Martorell and Pamplona; purchase conditions in Spain depend on the individual model.
What was announced
On 11 October 2026 Volkswagen announced a joint appearance by the CUPRA Raval, Volkswagen ID. Polo, Škoda Epiq and Volkswagen ID. Cross at the Paris Motor Show. All four belong to the Electric Urban Car Family and use the shared MEB+ electric platform.
The announcement assigns Raval and ID. Polo production to Martorell, and Epiq and ID. Cross to Pamplona. Volkswagen says more than 80% of the components and technologies are shared. Body styles, design and vehicle character remain different: buyers still choose a specific car rather than a platform alone.
The presentation does not guarantee immediate delivery of every version in Spain. The documentation identifies the Škoda Epiq shown as a near-production concept that is not yet available for sale. Before ordering, check the Spanish catalogue, equipment, charging specifications, final price and delivery date for the chosen model.
What it means for your home
If an EV is part of your plans for the home, allow space and an electrical supply for charging. Charger power and coordination with solar panels depend on the selected car and the home’s electrical installation.
