one360 · ENERGY, CLIMATE & SMART HOME

One coordinated system for your home’s thermal comfort.

Heat pump, heat distribution and hot water: we design the whole system, from the plant room to every room. For new builds, renovations and boiler replacement.

Calculate project

Who is this for?

New builds, major renovations or boiler replacements needing coordinated heating and hot water.

01

Air-to-water heat pumps

Air-to-water heat pump for heating, with cooling and hot water depending on configuration.

02

Heat distribution

Underfloor heating, fan coils or radiators suited to the operating temperature.

03

Domestic hot water

Hot-water cylinder, dedicated heat-pump water heater or integrated solution suited to household use.

04

Plant room

Hydraulics, tanks, pump groups, protection and controls sized as one system.

05

Retrofits & hybrid systems

Assess gas or oil boiler replacement and whether retaining existing backup heat is useful.

06

Pool heating

Dedicated selection based on volume, cover, season and desired temperature.

What we consider

Location · insulation · heat loss · emitters · hot water · plant space · noise

What to check before choosing a heat pump

Floor area is a starting point. To select the output, consider the local climate, insulation, windows, heat losses and how the home is used. The water temperature required by existing heat emitters also matters.

In a new build, underfloor heating, hot-water production and technical space can be coordinated from the outset. When replacing a boiler, first establish which parts of the existing installation can stay and which need adapting. For a second home, include periods of absence and how quickly you want the home to warm up.

Equipment, installation and cost factors

A proposal should identify the heat pump, heat emitters, domestic hot-water provision, controls and necessary hydraulic and electrical components. A dedicated hot-water heat pump has a different scope from a system designed for heating, cooling and hot water.

The budget changes with the building's demand, hot-water requirements, zones, pipe routes, changes to radiators or underfloor heating, and installation access. Compare the complete scope: equipment supply, installation, adjustments, commissioning and ancillary work. The catalogue helps you compare equipment; the final configuration requires checks at the property.

From assessing the home to commissioning

  1. Gather plans, location, insulation details, the existing system and hot-water requirements.
  2. Define the output, heat emitters, space for equipment and cylinders, pipe routes and controls.
  3. Confirm in writing the equipment and installation scope, adaptations and any work still to be priced.
  4. Install and check the complete system, adjust operation and explain the controls and the manufacturer's maintenance guidance. Timing depends on the scope and is agreed for each property.

Heat-pump questions

Can I keep my radiators?

Their output at the proposed operating temperature needs checking against each room's requirements. The heat-pump brand alone does not establish compatibility.

Can the same installation cool the home?

That depends on the heat pump, emitters, controls and system design. Confirm that cooling is included in the proposed configuration.

Is the calculator estimate a fixed quotation?

The estimate helps define an initial solution. The final scope and amount are confirmed using property details and the necessary checks.

What is the difference between COP and SCOP?

COP describes the ratio of heat delivered to electricity consumed under specified operating conditions. SCOP expresses performance over a reference heating season. Compare matching temperatures and climate conditions. Neither guarantees the electricity consumption of a particular home.

How can I compare heat pump installation quotes?

Compare quotes for the same needs and configuration: models, equipment quantities and scope of work. Explicitly agree any model substitutions in advance and ask whether dismantling, removal and disposal of old equipment are included. Check the price validity period and payment conditions in each quote. Mark what is included, excluded and still to be confirmed.

Can an air-to-water heat pump run with solar panels?

Solar PV can supply part of a heat pump’s electricity. The contribution depends on system sizing, heating demand and how generation matches consumption across the seasons. Solar panels do not guarantee that heating will be self-sufficient throughout the year.

Smart control

Smart control, subject to compatibility

Temperatures, schedules and heating zones. We assess integration with the selected equipment. Functions and scope are confirmed in the proposal.
