LOXONE 17.2: a new mode for home displays

What was announced

Loxone's announcement of 1 September 2026 presents Config & App 17.2 and updates for screen-based control. Features include Ambient Mode, custom backgrounds and up to 12 shortcuts, together with management of the 10-inch Wall Display through the app.

The update also includes a night mode. These functions concern information presentation and personalised operation; their availability depends on the devices and installation configuration.

In a connected home, choose shortcuts for genuinely frequent actions, such as lighting or room adjustments, instead of filling the screen with unnecessary controls. The software update alone does not establish energy savings. Those depend on the automation settings and the actual operation of connected equipment, rather than on a new display mode.
