RENOINN 2: support for heat-pump projects
IDAE announced over €51 million awarded to 56 renewable heat-pump projects.
What was announced
On 31 July 2026, IDAE announced €433.4 million awarded to 524 projects through RENOINN 2. The selected measures include 56 renewable heat-pump projects supported with more than €51 million.
This group contains 29 geothermal projects and 27 using ambient energy, including aerothermal and hydrothermal energy. Recipients include 26 homeowners' associations, showing the participation of collective heating and hot-water projects.
These projects have already been selected through a competitive call. The publication does not announce an open grant for every domestic installation. For a new project, assess heat demand, the distribution system and the organisation of the owners' association, then check separately whether a relevant funding call is available and what it requires.
