Growatt MINA: all-in-one home energy storage

What was announced

Growatt announced MINA on 4 August 2026 as a residential system combining a hybrid inverter, modular battery and energy management. The solution is single-phase and includes backup for selected loads. Spain is listed among the manufacturer's target markets.

Combining components can simplify system planning, but it does not establish that every home can connect without modifications. The available model, battery capacity, electrical supply and system requirements still need to be checked.

For homeowners, the key question is what should remain powered during an outage. Backup for selected circuits does not automatically mean whole-home backup. Load allocation and distribution-board configuration need to be defined before the project is finalised, rather than inferred from the all-in-one description.
