What was announced

On 25 May, the government presented a draft Social Climate Plan for 2026–2032 with a budget of €9.099 billion. The proposed allocation includes €4.723 billion for buildings and €4.376 billion for transport, focusing on vulnerable households and microbusinesses.

The public consultation ended on 29 June. Presenting the plan is not the same as opening a grant call. Planning, access criteria and specific programmes for requesting funds are separate stages.

A homeowner considering renovation or a change in transport should follow subsequent official publications. The overall budget is not an amount available to each household. Before making a purchase, check eligible recipients, admissible expenses and the application process.

What it means for your home

Before budgeting for support, check eligible applicants and costs, deadlines and the official call’s status.
