Enphase starts solar backup shipments in India without a home battery
IQ Gateway Fusion starts shipping in India, powering selected loads with solar during daytime outages. This announcement does not confirm availability in Spain.

What was announced
On 8 October 2026, Enphase announced initial IQ Gateway Fusion shipments in India. Working with IQ8 microinverters, the unit combines a control gateway, relay and built-in socket. Compatible loads connected to that socket can use solar power during daytime outages without a separate home battery.
The manufacturer specifies up to 3,680 W of output and up to seven IQ8P or nine IQ8HC units. It also describes pairing the system with a household UPS and using daytime generation to recharge it. Backup depends on equipment compatibility, available sunlight and the selected loads.
For homeowners planning solar, backup should be defined at the design stage. Panels alone do not establish that appliances will operate without the grid. Specify the backed-up circuits, allowable power and whether stored energy is needed overnight.
The launch is for India. It does not establish Spanish availability, pricing or an approved configuration for Spain. The photograph illustrates panels on a British house, rather than IQ Gateway Fusion or a One360 installation.
