Daikin X: climate control and hot water with one outdoor unit
The series combines air-to-air units with a hydraulic hot-water module. European rollout is phased from September; availability depends on the country.

What was announced
On 22 June, Daikin introduced the X series, combining air-to-air climate control and domestic hot-water production with one outdoor unit. The announced configuration supports up to four indoor air units and a hydraulic module, with 180- or 230-litre tanks.
The manufacturer announced a phased European rollout from September 2026, with availability varying by country. The presentation does not mean every combination can immediately be ordered in Spain.
The approach is relevant where outdoor space is limited and several household needs must be coordinated. Room-by-room demand and hot-water consumption still need assessment, along with approved combinations and installation location. One outdoor unit does not remove the need for system design and installation planning.
What it means for your home
Selection requires heat-loss calculations and checks of emitters, noise, location and local availability. Confirm connected-service conditions too.
