Apple announced its home display on 13 October. It controls compatible accessories, but the European Union is excluded from sales.

What was announced

Apple introduced HomeView on 13 October 2026. Its seven-inch tabletop or wall-mounted display combines home controls with Siri AI. Compatible accessories allow it to adjust lights and thermostats, operate blinds and locks, and show cameras.

This is not universal integration: compatible HomeKit or Matter accessories are required. Personal-context features need an Apple Intelligence-compatible iPhone or iPad; some video features also require an eligible iCloud+ plan.

Availability begins on 13 November 2026 in the announced markets. Apple explicitly excludes sales in the European Union because of Siri AI's status in iOS in the EU. There is no announced Spanish launch date; Siri AI on HomeView initially supports English.

For a Spanish home, this is an announcement to monitor, not equipment with confirmed local availability. Check country, language and individual accessory compatibility before planning an installation. The photograph illustrates a HomePod and iPhone, not the new HomeView.

What it means for your home

Do not plan a Spanish installation assuming this device or its AI features are already locally available.
