Andalusia: home efficiency and solar grant applications start on 22 October
INEA 1 is approved, but applications have not opened yet. Solar systems require storage; the minimum solar grant request is €6,000.

What was announced
Andalusia has approved INEA 1 for residential and public buildings, with €20.77 million in funding. The resolution was published on 25 September 2026. Applications start on 22 October at 09:00 local time. At the date of verification they are not yet open; the deadline is 30 September 2027 unless an official resolution closes the call earlier.
Private homes can receive support for insulation, heating and cooling, hot water and lighting, alongside a separate solar category. Efficiency projects must improve the energy rating by at least one grade and reduce non-renewable primary energy use and CO₂ emissions. The project and equipment must satisfy the relevant category requirements.
Residential solar installations must include storage. The base rate for private individuals is 55% of eligible costs; up to ten additional percentage points require specific conditions. The minimum grant requested is €6,000 for solar and €10,000 for efficiency. These are grant amounts, not minimum installation prices; calculations use the prescribed cost modules. For electricity self-consumption without economic activity, only installations receiving no payment for surplus electricity qualify.
Private applicants without economic activity may apply for work started on or after 1 May 2025, subject to all other conditions. Applicants carrying on economic activity must not incur costs or make commitments before applying. Check the category, documents and start-of-work rules before ordering equipment: an application does not guarantee payment.
What it means for your home
Homeowners in Andalusia can prepare their project and check certificates, storage and eligible costs. A small installation may not meet the minimum grant amount.
